This section explains the general information you need to know to make reports.

Is there a precise specification for each report?

Specifications corresponding to the characteristics of the service expected by the customers are available both in the emails related to this report and on the page dedicated to this report on your personal space.

If the circumstances of the report prevent you from complying with these customer requirements, we ask you to inform us in order to agree on the action to be taken. Feel free to contact us if you have any doubts or questions.

Where can I find the customer requirements for the report ?

Customer requirements are always available :

  • In the email received for this report
  • In your Meero personal space: go to your home page, click on the report in question in the list of upcoming reports and finally consult the customer requirements in the window that opens.

What is the desired format for the photos of the report?

The format expected by the clients is always indicated in the client requirements for the report: we ask you to refer to it in order to ensure that the service meets the clients' expectations.

Is landscape format always preferable?

Yes, unless otherwise specified by the customer in the customer requirements. You can find them in the emails received or on your Meero personal space.

What happens if the client postpones or cancels the photo report?

You are automatically notified by SMS and email.

  • If the customer cancels or postpones before the 24 hours preceding the date and time of the report, you will not have to make any photo report. You will not receive the related price.
  • If the customer cancels or postpones within 24 hours before the report, you will not have to make it but we will pay you the full price of the report.

About the report to be made, there is some bracketing to do: how many bracketings are required?

This information is always specified in the customer requirements related to the report. Unless contraindicated in these customer requirements, customers usually request 3 exposures (-3, 0, +3) or even 4 exposures (-4, -2, 0, +2). Similarly, a constant number of exposures during a single report and a perfectly exposed photo in exposure 0 are also often requested by customers.

Are photo portraits of people with bracketing requested?

No, you can make them in a single shot if you think it is more appropriate.

Is the tripod required?

Yes, the tripod is part of the equipment used to meet customer expectations when there is bracketing to be done.

What happens if I leave the location of the report after the estimated time requested by the clients has elapsed and without having finished it?

To enable us to pay you the price planned for this report, it is necessary to deliver us the number of photos requested by the customer by referring to the customer requirements. The estimated time requested by clients for the service normally gives you all the time you need to finish the report. However, if the additional time is due to a lack or refusal of preparation of the contact on site, or to particular constraints that lead, in your opinion, to take more time than expected, we kindly ask you to contact us as soon as possible by phone or email to explain the situation. We will do our best to provide you with the necessary support, including calling the customer.

If the report lasts longer than expected, will I be paid for the overtime?

No, the estimated time is the time requested and expected by clients as part of the report: the report should not normally take more time than this time. To enable us to pay you the price planned for this report, it will be appropriate that you deliver to us the number of photos requested by the customer by conforming to the customer's requirements.

However, the additional time may be due to a lack or refusal of preparation of the contact on site or to particular constraints which, in your opinion, lead to taking more time than expected: in this case, we kindly ask you to contact us as soon as possible by phone or email to explain the situation. We will do our best to provide you with the necessary support, including calling the customer.

How many pictures should I take?

You will find in the customer requirements of the report the minimum number of photos expected by the customer.

However, in order to give customers more choice, you can choose, if you think it is relevant, to take up to 1/3 more photos. This can be particularly useful when:

  • In a real estate photo report, the property is very large and you want to focus on the main rooms and points of interest you have identified. If, on the other hand, it is too small, you may find it useful to take a few close-up shots.
  • As part of a restaurant photo report, the restaurant prepared more dishes to be photographed than the number of photos expected.
